The Weekend To Come – 01/07/2018

South Africa

No schoolboy rugby in South Africa with everybody preparing for the u/16 Grant Khomo and u/13 Craven Week tournaments to be held at Diamantveld High School in Kimberley.

New Zealand

Auckland Premier 1A - St Kentigern travels to Aorere College and should maintain their unbeaten status without much of a sweet. Aorere College has only won 2 from 8 and should not be a problem. Second-placed St Peter's hosts De La Salle College and should be able to send De La Salle home maintaining their second place with only 5 points behind St Kentigern.

Central North Island - Feilding High is the only unbeaten side and also sits comfortably at the top of the log. Feilding travels to Wanganui who only won 3 from 7 and should not pose any problems for the log leaders.

North Harbour Canon 1 - Log leader Takapuna High travels to the bottom of the log, Birkenhead and will remain at the top of the log. Westlake Boys High travels to Orewa Collge that will also not pose any problems. So 2 wins for the log leaders who are still unbeaten with Takapuna 1 point ahead on the log due to more bonus points scored.

Super 8 - The clash of the unbeaten with Hamilton Boys High who host Napier Boys High in a battle not only to for the number 1 spot on the log, but the team that wins will also be the only unbeaten team left in this competition.

UC Championship First XV - Christchurch Boys' High hosts Marlborough BC in what should be another win for Christchurch. Christchurch sits firmly at the top with no real threat apart from second place Christ's College who hosts Waimea College and would hope for an easy game.

Wellington Premiership - St Patrick's Silverstream is one of two schools still unbeaten and travels to Hutt International Boys School. St Pat's should maintain their number 1 place on the log with relative ease. The other unbeaten side Scots College has a similar "easy" match when they travel to Kapiti Collge.
