The Movers And Shakers – Easter Weekend’s Results

The results up until the 7th of April are included with some very interesting results made for some serious movements by the 1stXV's

A lot has been asked regarding the reason why Helpmekaar, Paul Roos and Oakdale all drop places in the rankings although they were unbeaten at the various Easter Festivals. All three times were unbeaten but the "quality" of their opposition cost them rankings points. The Ruggas.co.za rankings penalise teams with 1.5 ranking points if they play a team worth 10 ranking points less than themselves. Therefore, Helpmekaar, Paul Roos and Oakdale have less ranking points currently than before the Easter Weekend.

Ruggas.co.za rewards the teams that play rugby against the right competition. You can not expect to be ranked among the best if you do not play the best.
