The Movers And Shakers – Week Ending 10/06/2018

International Top 200

Top 10 - Although South Africa has gone into their winter sleep their top 2 teams still occupy the Top 2 spots on the ranking but expect the top New Zealand schools to move in and challenge for the top spots. Napier Boys High (NZ) gained 6 positions after their win against Gisborne Boys High (NZ) (47-20) while last week's top New Zealand school Palmerston North drop down 4 positions to number 7 after their close loss against Hastings Boys High (NZ). There were no new entries in the Top 10.

Top 20 - Two new entrants in the Top 20, De La Salle (NZ) moved up 7 positions into #18 after their win against Liston (50-0) with Helpmekaar (RSA) moving up 10 positions up to #19 after their brilliant performance against EG Jansen (RSA) (29-10). Scots College lost 20 places on the rankings after their victory against Lowly ranked Hutt International (38-17) losing the mandatory 1.5 ranking points, and then also losing against Napier Boys High (7-33) earlier the week. Otago drops 10 positions after losing the mandatory 1.5 ranking points after their victory against lowly ranked St Kevin's (31-14).

New Zealand

Top 10 - Southland Boys High moves into the #10 spot although they did not play this weekend. This is due to Otago BHS dropping 10 positions in the rankings after losing the mandatory 1.5 ranking points after their victory against lowly ranked St Kevin's (31-14).

Top 20 - Feilding High School enters the Top 20 at #14 after their victory against Wesley College (14-0) who moves out of the Top 20 to #22. Scotts College drops 12 places to #23 after their victory against Lowly ranked Hutt International (38-17) losing the mandatory 1.5 ranking points, and then also losing against Napier Boys High (7-33) earlier the week, this moved MAGS into the #19 position after corrections were done on the rankings.

South Africa 

Top 10 - Helpmekaar moves into the Top 10 at #8 after their victory against EG Jansen (29-10) while Monnas drops 4 positions to #14 after Garsfontein took revenge on the TUKS loss against Monnas with a victory of 49-39.

Top 20 - Jeppe moves by default into the Top 20 at #20 after the loss against Paarl Boishaai (17-22) see Boland Landbou drops to #21. Rondebosch drops 6 positions to #22 after their loss against Bishops (20-25) with Wynberg moving back into the Top 20 after their emphatic win against SACS (46-22). Wynberg is now placed #17 gaining 7 positions.

Top 50 - Parktown Boys High drops out of the Top 50 after St Charles gained 1.5 ranking points after their loss against Hilton College (26-19). St Charles gaining 6 ranking positions up to #46.

Top 100 - No new entries and therefore no schools dropping out of the Top 100.
