Not much going on in South Africa this weekend. Nelspruit is hosting a "Bondedag" this weekend, while in the Eastern Cape Kingswood College from Grahamstown hosts the Independent Schools Rugby Festival. With seven matches to be played on this Saturday, Monday and Wednesday a lot of action is expected. Day 1's pick must be the game between the unbeaten Hilton College whom will face the high riding St Alban's from Pretoria. Hilton must be the favourites but ............ St Andrew's should have to much power for Kearsney with the match between Kingswood and Bishops maybe evened out a bit as none of Bishop's Youth Week players is allowed to participate.
The LSEN week for u/18 boys starts next week on Monday in Vanderbijlpark and is the place to be during next week.
Auckland Premier 1A - The big one of the weekend in the whole of New Zealand must be the game between unbeaten log leader St Kentigern College and number 2 Sacred Heart College. Sacred Heart College is the hosts and is expected to remain unbeaten. St Peter's College is travelling to Mount Albert Grammar but should have enough in the tank left to go home with an easy win.
Central North Island 1stXV - Feilding High is the only unbeaten side in this competition and is seemingly not going to be caught. St John's College Hastings who is looking for their first win after 4 games is not expected to pose much of a problem to the log leaders.
North Harbour Canon 1A - Westlake and Takapuna is expected to continue their unbeaten streak. Takapuna Grammar travels to Orewa College with Westlake Boys hosting Massey High. Westlake and Takapuna Grammar a cut above the rest.
Super Eight - Second on the log and unbeaten Rotorua Boys High will host number 1 Hamilton Boys High in another cracker. The winner to definitely be number one on Sunday morning. Napier Boys High who is also unbeaten has a much easier game when they host Tauranga Boys High who is still looking for their first win.
UC Championship - Log leader Christchurch Boys High should remain unbeaten against a Waimea Combined who is struggling in the bottom half of this competition. Second-placed Christ's College will travel to Rangiora High whom should not be much of a problem for the boys from Christ's College.
Wellington Premiership - Unbeaten St Patrick's Silverstream will travel to Porirua College and should remain unbeaten against a side that is also looking for their first win. The other unbeaten side Scots College is hosting Wellington College whom also should not ask too many questions from Scots College. St Patrick's College Town will want to get their season back on track after their first loss against Scots College. They host Wairarapa College which also should not be that a difficult opponent.
